server. Utilizing and

learning the usage of a

hardware RAID for multiple

storage devices and

redundancy.

Rack mounted R630 Server

I configured and built a

R630 server, installing

Proxmox and installing

VM’s inside.

Storage - 6x 1.2TB SAS

A RAID 10 was utilized,

creating a 3.59 TB virtual

disk.

in my home.

On the bottom rack, the

small homelab server is

there with a backup

proxmox server next to it.

The networking equipment

I use are-

Netgear RAX70 Router

Netgear GS316EPP Switch

2x Netgear AX1800 AP

Shadowsocks proxy

I utilized Shadowsocks to

create a proxy to access

my home LAN via the

SOCKS5 proxy protocol.

Instead of exposing ports

to the WAN, I utilized

Tailscale in order to

connect into my LAN.
